- 1 cup Millet
- 2 cup Water
- 1/4 tsp pink Himalayan salt (optional)
Rinse millet in a small strainer or by running fresh water over the mille in a medium pot. Drain.
Put 1 cup of millet to medium pot and then add 2 cup water and pink salt (optional).
Bring to boil, then reduce the heat to simmer and cover the pot. Simmer until millet absorb most of the water, 20 minutes. Remove from the heat and let stand. Cover it for 5 minutes.
Before serving, fluff with a fork.
Best served warm
You can spice up your millet with paprika and garlic powder
