Recipe for Red Beans

Ingredients:

  • 2 ½ cups Beans Natural Life
  • 2 cups potatoes cut
  • 2 cups chopped carrots
  • 2 cups chopped celery
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 700 g water
  • 1 ½ teaspoons of #Natural Life salt
  • ½ teaspoon #Natural Life black pepper

Instructions:

  • We put the beans in the water to soak overnight.
  • Strain the beans and add them to the pot. Pour in 8 cups of hot water and boil for 25 minutes.
  • Place another saucepan over high heat and add 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
  • Cut the celery, carrot, onion and potatoes into small pieces and put them in the pot. Stir until they are boiled.
  • Then add the tomato paste and sauté everything together.
  • Add the beans, another 4 cups of water and cook for another 20-25 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  • Add 4-5 tablespoons of olive oil and serve with pepper and olive oil.
