4 cups of hot water
4 cups of cold water
2/3 cup of honey *
* – Honey is optional if you would like your tea sweet. Honey gives a special flavor and taste.
– If you are on a diet without sugar or if you are diabetic you can add the sweetener of your choice.
** Green tea contains caffeine
-Make a brew of your Tea using 4 teabags Ginger Tea with Green Tea and Natural Lemon Aroma Natural Life and 4 cups of hot water (filtered water or mineral water will give a far better taste). Allow the tea to steep for no more than 5 minutes.
-In a large jug place the 4 cups of cold water. Add the honey (optional) to the cold water before you add the ginger /green tea. Stir until the honey is completely dissolved.
A secret here for you. Pour the hot brewed ginger /green tea into the water (honey) mixture and stir. Adding the hot tea to the cold water helps prevent the finished drink from becoming cloudy.
Allow to cool further then serve in glasses over ice. Slices of fresh lemon make an attractive garnish.
Iced tea will keep overnight in the fridge, but tea has a delicate flavor and for the best iced tea experience it should be drunk the same day.
